Effectual

 Finished a good chunk of the animation for the start of Puzzle Peace, the next Living Room game. It's not polished -- I'm going to save showing that off for the actual game's release, but just wanted to show the atmosphere we're going for, and how the pieces might be given to the player one by one...

Shady

Had some success creating a raindrop shader for the window in the puzzle game (and hopefully in other places! I think I'm going to have to use the pixelating settings, though the high res version looks pretty crispy! 




I made most of it using this tutorial. But added some pixely settings (I'm so predictable), and optimized it for mobile. Go, puzzle game title screen, go!

Eyes in

 

Playing around, trying to get the feeling of a forest just outside of a window for a new game I'm working on. Doesn't feel right yet, too much sky back there. Need to play with the colors/background effect. The final result will hopefully be more of a rainy day feeling. Right now just went for afternoon orangey feeling, because it was easy. Maybe less detail on the leaves?
